The corona incidences have been rising again in Germany for weeks. Now the incoming government wants to adopt new rules according to a secret plan. What is the secret plan?
Secret corona plan? The fourth corona wave is rolling through Germany! The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in seven days, rose to 183.7 across Germany on Saturday the 6th of November. The value has doubled in just over two weeks. In 18 districts in Bavaria, Saxony and Thuringia, the incidence was even higher than 500. The incoming German government is apparently planning new rules according to a secret corona plan.
Secret Corona plan for the winter – NEW MEASURES PLANNED!
▶ More than 2,450 Covid patients had to be treated in the German intensive care units on Saturday afternoon, and the trend is rising! A week earlier, the number of patients was below 2000.
▶ And the death rate is also increasing. Within the past seven days, the RKI recorded 792 Covid deaths, an average of more than 100 per day.
The incoming German government, which is still in the middle of negotiations on the specifics of governance, knows that it must act NOW.
The SPD, Greens and FDP want to end the epidemic situation on November 25th. This means that the federal government can no longer bypass parliament by restricting basic rights in the anti-corona fight. Germany-wide school closings, lockdowns, curfews will then no longer exist.
What’s in the new secret plan for corona from the incoming German government?
The catalog of corona measures from the incoming German government contains the following rules:
▶ The federal states will have until March 20 to introduce mandatory masking and distance requirements. In addition, access restrictions such as 3G and 2G will continue to be allowed at events and other leisure facilities.
▶ Compulsory daily testing for employees and visitors in old people’s and nursing homes, including those who have been vaccinated and those who have recovered. The most endangered group, the elderly and the sick, should be better protected. The SPD, Greens and FDP reject compulsory vaccination for nurses. They fear that nursing staff would then fire.
▶ Hospitals and clinics will receive a premium / bonus again if they keep part of their intensive care beds free for corona patients. This means that planned operations will have to be postponed again. The incoming government wants to prevent the intensive care units from overflowing because of the increasing number of Covid patients.
▶ There should be no more lockdowns. Politicians have long promised those who have been vaccinated. They would probably be overturned in court too. The incoming goverment does not want lockdowns for unvaccinated people either. Also no nationwide 2-G rule for restaurants, theaters, football stadiums. Unvaccinated people should be able to continue to participate in social life (at least tested) at the insistence of the FDP.
▶ Doctors should be obliged to write to their elderly patients and inform them about the booster vaccination. In this way, the elderly should receive the necessary third injection faster.
▶ Since children have to stay at home more often due to corona infections and quarantine measures, the number of childhood illness days will be increased from 10 to 30 per parent and child (60 instead of 20 for single parents). This applies to all those with statutory health insurance with children under the age of 12. The health insurance company pays 90 percent of the lost net wages per day.
▶ The reintroduction of the free citizen tests is also being discussed. Then corona rapid tests would be free again
Schedule: When will the new secret plan be introduced?
The schedule: The parliamentary groups of the SPD, Greens and FDP meet on Monday. The incoming government’s corona law is to be introduced on November 11th and passed on the 18th. One day later, the Federal Council should approve.
Bavaria wants more money for nurses: For our nurses, I demand that the supplements or part of the salary be tax-exempt as soon as possible. During the 4th corona wave the carers have to properly be taken care of. We need financial recognition for their achievements. The federal government must now regulate this quickly and unbureaucratically.
