With the Zamanand Festival, former organizers of the Streetlife Festival are planning a new edition of the popular festival in September in cooperation with the department for climate and environmental protection and M-net. Save the dates! September 10th to 11th!
Zamanand Festival means a car-free weekend on Leopoldstrasse and Ludwigstrasse in Munich, a festival from Odeonsplatz to the Siegestor (a 3.5 kilometer party strip!) – which sounds like the popular Steetlife festival!
Welcome to the Zamanand!
▶︎ From Odeonsplatz all the way around the Siegestor, the motto is: Welcome to the country of Zamanand! The topics of sustainability and climate protection remain the focal points.
After a two-year Corona break and due to the reorientation of the Streetlife festival organizer Green City eV, which would like to focus on other areas in the future, Munich can once again look forward to a car-free weekend on Ludwigstrasse and Leopoldstrasse.
With the Zamanand Festival, the organizers, in cooperation with the department for climate and environmental protection and the sponsoring partner M-net, continue to stand for social and cultural diversity and, as a result, for economic and ecological sustainability.
Zamanand Festival is a continuation of a Munich tradition
Mayor Dieter Reiter takes over the patronage again: “I am very pleased that this street festival, which has been firmly anchored in the city’s calendar of events for around 20 years, is being continued under a new name. I would especially like to thank the organizers for the creative ideas and the committed implementation.”
Zamanand Festival is the Open-air festival on the streets of Munich just life Streetlife was
